Job summary

Exeter College is seeking a Learning Support Team Coordinator to lead a large team of Learning Assistants across College sites in Exeter. You’ll arrange staff cover, manage timetabling, welcome new colleagues and ensure learners receive the right support each day.

You’ll coordinate recruitment and induction, work with support staff and faculties, respond quickly to short-notice absences, and keep colleagues informed of changes.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in education or similar environment.
• Ability to coordinate staff across multiple sites.
• Strong planning, organisation and prioritisation skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment and induction of Learning Assistants.
• Arrange staff cover and timetabling across College sites.
• Support onboarding of new colleagues and maintain communications.
• Respond quickly to short-notice absence and arrange cover.
• Supervise Learning Assistants and keep staff informed of changes.
• Help ensure the Learning Support service runs smoothly and effectively.
