Job summary

Exeter College in Exeter seeks an experienced Assessments Officer to lead a highly capable team of assessors delivering exam access arrangements. You will ensure accurate screening, liaising with schools and parents, and maintaining JCQ compliance across the Exeter & North Devon Group.

The role requires strong communication, proactive organisation and a passion for supporting students, with a focus on training staff and sharing expertise across the college.

Qualifications

• Essential Level 7 Assessor Award.
• Experience assessing students for exam access arrangements.
• Proven leadership of a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Assessors across Exeter & North Devon Group.
• Screen and assess students for exam access needs, liaising with schools and parents.
• Keep up to date with changes to JCQ regulations and implement them.
• Manage student referrals and support teaching staff with exam arrangements.
• Deliver training and share expertise with staff across the college.
• Involved in college life activities such as open events, invigilation and campus presence.
