Job summary

Sparsholt College Hampshire (inc Andover Campus) in Winchester is seeking a Learning Support Assistant for Foundation or Mainstream provision. This permanent role is full-time (35 hours per week, 36 weeks per year) with a salary up to £18,610, dependent on qualifications and experience.

You will support students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, work with staff in classrooms and social spaces, and accompany learners on offsite visits; some posts may involve personal care where needed.

Qualifications

• A good standard of education, including English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above.
• Willingness to undertake further training and development.
• Experience of working with young people in an educational or care setting is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
• Work alongside teaching staff in classroom environments.
• Support students in social spaces across campus.
• Accompany students on offsite visits and trips.
• Some roles within Foundation provision may involve personal care.
