Job summary

Nottingham College is seeking a dedicated Inclusion and Support staff member to provide inclusive learning experiences across campuses. You’ll work in a centralized team with Dyslexia specialists to support students and manage adaptive resources and equity-focused initiatives.

The role requires strong communication, confidentiality, and the ability to travel between campuses as needed. The college values wellbeing and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Hold Level 2 Maths and English or equivalent.
• Experience supporting people with learning support needs.
• Knowledge of inclusion and disability implications.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality with a thoughtful, tolerant approach.
• Maintain accurate records and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process and submit exam access arrangements and documentation.
• Work within the Dyslexia team to support learners.
• Assist the Specialist Tutor Co-ordinator to meet learners' needs and evidence support.
• Prepare/modify resources and arrange adaptive technology.
• Collaborate with IT on hardware/software for dyslexia support.
• Assist in creating learning and teaching resources and set up equipment.
• Participate in training to enhance learners' experience.
• Provide out-of-class support to develop study and independent learning skills.
• Support open evenings, events, and multi-agency meetings as required.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to embed support targets and strategies.
