Job summary

Hanbury Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic Learning Support Practitioner to join our caring team. You will work with children, including those with complex SEMH needs, to provide stability, support, and high-quality learning assistance.

The role is 32.5 hours per week, term time plus 5 training days, with a pro rata salary and Band D SCP 9-17 (£28,153 - £32,046) pro rata (£22,065 - £25,225). Location: West Bromwich. Contract: Permanent.

Job description

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dedicated, experienced and highly skilled LSP, to join our team of strong support staff. The role will require a high level of experience of working with children with complex social, emotional and mental health needs. The successful candidate would bring a wealth of experience of supporting the most vulnerable children, and would be able to form and maintain caring and trusting relationships. The successful candidate would be joining a positive, supportive and welcoming team. We have high expectations of both our children and our staff.

We are looking for a learning support practitioner who:

Shortlisting for interviews will also be subject to a successful lesson observation

Hanbury Primary School is committed to the welfare and safeguarding of all our children. As part of the appointment procedure all staff have to undergo a DBS disclosure which will report cautions as well as convictions.
