Job summary

Askham Bryan College is seeking a Learning Support Practitioner to join the Stewart Park campus in Middlesbrough on a part-time basis. You will provide extra learning support to students with high needs to help them access the college experience and progress academically.

The role requires experience with SEND, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and related needs. This permanent, pro‑rata post offers a pro rata salary and benefits, with a start date on arrangement and interviews to be confirmed.

Qualifications

• Experience of Special Educational Needs, including Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and Speech, Language and Communication Needs.
• Ability to support learners with SEN to access mainstream college activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide additional learning support for students with high needs and SEND.
• Help learners achieve and progress in an inclusive college environment.
• Work at Stewart Park campus with flexibility to support across settings if needed.
