Job summary

Askham Bryan College in Middlesbrough is seeking a Learning Support Practitioner to provide additional learning support and individual assistance for students with high needs and SEND, enabling them to enjoy a fully inclusive college experience and to achieve and progress.

The role requires empathy and an understanding of SEND areas such as Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, SEMH and related needs. The interview date is to be confirmed, with a monthly starter/induction days schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students with high needs and SEND.
• Understanding of SEN conditions such as Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, SEMH, Speech, Language and Communication Needs, Dyspraxia and Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties.

Responsibilities

• Provide additional learning support and individual support for students at Stewart Park campus.
• Support inclusive college experiences and help learners achieve and progress.
