Learning Support Practitioner 3 – Temple Meadow Primary School

Responsibilities
- Support children with their learning, ensuring they reach their full potential.
- Work closely with teachers and other staff to deliver tailored support, including working with children who have additional needs.
- Deliver high quality phonic sessions using Little Wandle.
- Provide high quality support to learning and achievement for vulnerable groups, initially within Key Stage 2.
Qualifications and experience
- Relevant NVQ3 or equivalent qualification.
- Prior paid experience in a primary school setting as part of the Learning Support team.
- Experience working in an urban primary school environment such as Sandwell.
- Training in First Aid, Little Wandle, WellComm, Food Hygiene; a forest school leader qualification is advantageous.
- Appropriately literate and numerate.
Working hours & contract
Full time (32.5 hours) 8:45‑3:45pm each day, standard term time plus two days. This is a permanent post.
Salary
Band D, 9‑17 FTE: £27,254 – £31,022 (Actual pro‑rata salary £21,085 – £24,104).
