Contract: Full-Time, Term Time Only (via Teaching Personnel)
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? Do you have experience as a Learning Support Assistant or come from a background in sports or coaching? We're looking for someone confident, resilient, and ready to take on a rewarding challenge.
We are working in partnership with a Specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) Primary School that supports pupils with complex behavioural needs. The school is seeking a full-time Learning Support Assistant to start as soon as possible or from September 2025. The role is confirmed termly for the 2025/26 academic year, with the potential to go permanent if it's the right fit for you and the school.
Supporting primary-aged pupils with SEMH needs
Managing challenging behaviour in a positive and proactive way
Working closely with class teachers and the wider school team
Using your background in LSA work or sports/coaching to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils
Providing consistency, structure, and encouragement to pupils throughout the school day
Experience working with children - either in education or a sports/coaching environment
Confident in managing behaviour and working with children who present with challenges
Must be available full-time (Mon-Fri), term time only
GCSE English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above)
Willing to work through Teaching Personnel for the duration of the next academic year
Be part of a supportive, specialist team making a real difference
Termly confirmed contracts, with potential to become permanent
£13.75 per hour, paid weekly
Ongoing training and support from Teaching Personnel
