Job summary

Bristol Brunel Academy is seeking a Learning Support Lead for Operations to oversee the Learning Support Team, working with SENCOs to break down barriers and ensure equitable student outcomes. The role focuses on SEND, medical needs, EAL, and young carers within a supportive, diverse community.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 GCSEs grade C or above incl Maths & English.
• Understanding of learning processes and barriers to learning.
• Experience with SEND students and/or additional needs.
• Commitment to safety and wellbeing of children and young people.
• Ability to work with diverse communities.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Learning Support Team and ensure equitable support for students.
• Collaborate with SENCOs to plan and monitor support.
• Remove barriers to learning to improve student outcomes.
• Promote safety and well-being of pupils across the academy.
