Qualifications

• Experience of working with children or young people.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils to access the curriculum and make progress in their learning.
• Deliver learning, care and support programmes under the guidance of teachers.
• Support pupils individually or in groups.
• Assist with implementing education and behaviour plans.
• Deliver intervention programmes.
• Monitor pupil progress.
• Promote positive behaviour.
• Help build pupils' confidence and independence.
• Help create an engaging classroom environment.
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive and supportive environment.
• Work closely with teachers and students within and beyond the classroom.
