Job summary

Capel Manor College in London is inviting applications for a Learning Support Coordinator. The role involves assessing and coordinating support for students with learning difficulties and disabilities, including completing forms, risk assessments and annual reviews.

You will oversee SEND services such as LSA timetables, access arrangements, and dyslexia support and intervention. The ideal candidate will have experience in education, a strong understanding of safeguarding, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organisation skills
• Compassion and ability to work with a range of stakeholders
• Understanding of safeguarding of young people and vulnerable adults
• Knowledge of SEND Code of Practice and Education Health Care Plans
• Experience working in an educational setting supporting learners with learning difficulties or disabilities

Responsibilities

• Assess and coordinate required support for students with learning difficulties or disabilities
• Complete initial interviews, high needs funding forms, risk assessments and annual reviews
• Coordinate SEND services, including managing the Learning Support Assistant timetable
• Manage access arrangements and dyslexia support and intervention
