A leading educational support provider in London seeks a Learning Support/College-Link Mentor to start in September 2025. The role involves supporting 16-19 year old students in mainstream colleges and Blossom House, particularly for artistic subjects. Ideal candidates will have passion for helping students and experience with Special Educational Needs. This permanent role offers a rewarding opportunity for those dedicated to education.
Learning Support/College-Link Mentor (Post-16) is a permanent, term-time only role. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:30am – 17:00pm. The post is to start in September 2025. The post-16 provision supports students aged 16–19 years and predominantly supports students on the College Link provision. Students attend a mainstream college receiving additional support from College Link Mentors, then attend Blossom House for therapeutic and academic sessions.
Place of work: College Link Mentors support students onsite at the mainstream colleges they attend: Nescot College, Merton College and Kingston College (Creative Industries Centre). Mentors can be allocated to any college based on student need. We are actively recruiting for a CLM to support Kingston College, focusing on artistic subjects such as Art & Design and Animation, which may interest candidates with experience or interest in artistic subjects. Mentors will also spend time onsite at Blossom House School, supporting in lessons and working with the wider team.
