Job summary

TipTopJob is looking for Learning Support Assistants to work across Primary and Secondary settings, assisting students in overcoming barriers to learning. This role emphasizes targeted academic support and helping students reach their full potential.

You will lead small group interventions in Literacy and Numeracy, differentiate resources, and track progress to inform teaching. Term-time only with weekly pay, immediate start.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in English and Maths with ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Proactive, coaching mindset with initiative to support learners.
• Experience tutoring or assisting in school settings preferred.
• Enhanced DBS on update service (or willingness to obtain) for safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Lead small group interventions in Literacy and Numeracy.
• Differentiate resources to suit learner needs with simplified materials.
• Promote independence using scaffold-and-fade techniques.
• Track student progress and share data with teachers/SENCO.
