Job summary

Stockton Riverside College, part of The Education Training Collective (Etc.), is seeking a Learning Support Carer/Assistant to join the Learning Support team. You will provide personal care and support to students with learning difficulties or disabilities, and collaborate with teaching staff to tailor learning approaches.

The ideal candidate is caring, flexible, and well-organised, with motivation to improve learners' outcomes and employment opportunities.

Qualifications

• Caring, flexible, and organised; able to motivate young people to succeed.
• Experience supporting students with additional learning needs or disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to students, including safe manual handling.
• Administer medication if required and coordinate with teaching staff to adapt learning methods.
• Develop strategies to promote independence and resilience in learners with support needs.
