An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Learning Support Assistant to join our Learning Support team reporting to the Learning Support Coordinator. The Learning Support department provides an exceptional service across the group to support students who have declared a learning difficulty or disability, along with those who are identified during their college journey.
As a Learning Support Assistant with Redcar and Cleveland College you will be responsible for working with teaching staff to plan and adjust learning methods for students who require additional support, developing strategies to respond to the additional learning support needs of individuals and groups, alongside developing strategies to promote independence and resilience in learners with support needs.
The ideal candidate will be organised and flexible, experienced in motivating young people to succeed in their learning, enthusiastic and highly committed to improving the learning attainments and employment opportunities of young people.
