Sexey’s School is seeking Learning Support Assistants to strengthen the Learning Support Team. You will support students with SEND, assist teachers and the SENDCO, and help create a stable, caring learning environment that enables all students to achieve their potential.

The role is term-time only plus one week (36 weeks), 32.5 hours per week, with a fixed term until 31 August 2027. The post is based in the UK educational setting and may involve safeguarding checks.

Responsabilités

  • Assist with development of programmes of work for students with SEND and learning difficulties.
  • Provide supervision, support and care for students during learning activities.
  • Support teachers and SENDCO in delivering educational opportunities and maintaining a safe learning environment.
  • Contribute to the department's goals and facilitate student social and moral development.

  • Grade 14 Point 4-6 actual salary range £18,063-£18,639pa based on full-time equivalent £26,016- £26,847pa
  • 32.5 hours per week, term time only plus one week (36 working weeks)

We are seeking to appoint Learning Support Assistants to strengthen our well established Learning Support Team and are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistants to contribute to building on our success as a department. You will be passionate about students’ learning and you will have the ability to assist the SENDCO and teachers in the development of a programme of work and in the provision of a stable, caring and supportive learning environment, which enables students to achieve their full potential and facilitate their social and moral development.

Post holders will work with teaching staff in implementing and developing educational opportunities to maximise the learning potential of students with Additional Educational Needs and provide supervision, support and care to students with additional or special educational needs, disabilities and/or learning difficulties.
