Job summary

Lower Farm is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to provide focused 1:1 support for two Early Years pupils in Nursery. The post is a Level 2 (G4, SCP 7–11) with 30 hours per week, term-time only, on a temporary contract until 31/12/27 (subject to SEN funding).

The successful candidate will bring knowledge of child development and strong Maths and English skills, with DBS clearance and two references required; Forest Schools or Attachment training would be a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have secure knowledge of child development and good Maths and English skills.
• Experience of working with children in the relevant age group is essential.
• DBS clearance is required, with two suitable references and an online search.
• Training in Forest Schools and/or Attachment would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support for two Early Years pupils in Nursery.

We wish to appoint a learning support assistant to join our successful team. The role will be to provide 1:1 support for two of our Early Years pupils in Nursery.

Lower Farm is a nurturing and continually improving school with a pupil centred focus.

It is essential that you have a secure knowledge of child development and good Maths and English skills. Experience of working with children of this age group is also essential. Training in Forest Schools and/or Attachment would be advantageous.
