Job summary

King’s Ely in Ely is seeking a Teaching & Learning Support Assistant to support pupils in Years 3 to 8 during term time.

You will work 1:1 or in small groups, help students stay motivated and access their learning, and liaise with the Learning Support Coordinator and class teachers. The role includes administration duties and potential extra responsibilities within the Prep School.

Salary is £13,320.00 for 22.5 hours per week, term-time only, with auto-enrolment pension and staff benefits.

• Experience supporting children in a school setting.
• Ability to work with groups and individuals to promote learning.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.

Responsibilities

• Support students during and outside lessons.
• Work 1:1 or in small groups across Years 3-8.
• Liaise with parents as agreed with Learning Support Coordinator.
• Assist with administration, filing, photocopying and display preparation.
• Assist other teachers within King’s Ely Prep School.
