Learning Support Assistant / Teaching Assistant – Basildon (Entry Level & Experienced)

Do you want to make a difference in the lives of children and young people? Are you passionate about supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEND)?

Protocol Education are recruiting Learning Support Assistants / Teaching Assistants to join a SEND provision in Basildon.

We welcome both:

• Entry level applicants – no classroom experience required, just a caring and resilient nature
• Experienced LSAs, TAs or support staff – your skills will be highly valued

The Role

You will support students with a range of needs, including:

• Autism (ASD)
• Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs (SEMH)
• Severe and Complex learning difficulties
• Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
• Pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)

This is a full-time, long-term position (Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm).
