Qualifications

• No formal qualification is required.
• A Level 3 qualification in Education, Childcare or Early Years would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Providing classroom support and delivering targeted interventions.
• Working on a 1:1 basis with pupils with SEND, including autism and complex needs.
• Supporting children with social, emotional and communication difficulties.
• Adapting learning activities to meet individual needs.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
• Helping to create a calm, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
• Supporting pupils with personal care and medical needs in line with individual care plans.
