Aspire People are recruiting a Learning Support Assistant to work in a school in Louth, Lincolnshire. The role is full-time, temp to perm, starting after October half-term 2026.

You will provide 1:1 or small-group support for pupils with various learning difficulties and special educational needs, requiring resilience and genuine energy. Experience with SEND/SEMH is highly valued, and a passion for education is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have recent/relevant experience working with children and young people.
• Must have a passion for education.

Responsibilities

• Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students
• Support pupils consistently whilst responding to their individual needs
• Create a safe learning environment for pupils
• De-escalate behavior that challenges through the forming of trusting relationships
• Must have recent/relevant experience working with children and young people, specifically those with SEND/SEMH.
