Job summary

Outwood Grange Academies Trust, via Outwood Academy Normanby, is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support teachers and deliver targeted learning activities. The role initially works within the Alternative Resource Provision (ARP) and extends to other classroom support, including for SEND and EAL students.

You will help develop individualised student support plans, monitor progress, and contribute to a nurturing, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or in a school setting.
• Strong communication skills and adaptability.
• Willingness to undertake necessary training and safeguarding processes.

Responsibilities

• Implement planned learning activities and support the teacher.
• Support students with SEND/EAL and contribute to individual plans.
• Assist with social, emotional, and welfare needs of learners.
• Escort students on educational visits and help invigilate examinations.
