Job summary

Cambian Potterspury Lodge School is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join a dedicated staff team in Towcester. You will support students aged 8–16 with Autism Spectrum Condition and complex needs, in a small-class setting, under supervision and with safeguarding at the core.

The role offers full induction, training opportunities, and a supportive environment where staff well‑being is prioritised and career progression is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of working with young people in a classroom environment.
• You will be educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) in Math and English, grade C/4 or above.
• Commitment to safeguarding children and good understanding of what this entails.
• Understanding of classroom roles and responsibilities of the role.
• Experience of working with wide range of children including those with ASD/SEND.
• Understanding of principals of child development and learning processes
