Job summary

Randstad Education in Burgess Hill is recruiting for a temporary role within an SEMH school, starting September and term-time only to allow holidays.

The position offers a daily rate of £89-£100 and a pathway to a permanent role after a 12-week probation period, with a salary review aligned to the school’s transition. You will work Monday-Thursday 08:30-15:30 and Friday 08:30-15:00, with appropriate DBS and safeguarding checks required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to provide personal care for ages 5-16.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service.
• Minimum of 6 months of experience in mental health, crisis support, or youth justice.
• GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C (or equivalent).
• Valid driving licence and access to a car (remote campus location).
• Trauma-informed approach to learning and support.
