A local SEN school in the Redland area of Bristol (BS6) is looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join their friendly team full-time starting this March 2025. The role will involve working under the guidance of the Year 3 class teacher and supporting the pupils academically and emotionally to help improve their independence and life skills.
The school caters for pupils with a range of additional needs, making this an exciting role where no two days are ever the same. You will work with students who may have ASD, ADHD, cerebral palsy, Tourette's, Down syndrome, or other learning needs, so be ready to be flexible and adapt to each student’s needs. The school has a timetabled curriculum that includes lessons dedicated to life skills, so you will help the students with cooking and sports—get ready to make the classroom a fun and exciting place!
