Job summary

Academics in Woking is seeking Psychology and Criminology graduates to work as Learning Support Assistants in a primary school setting. You will support students with social, emotional and mental health needs, assist the class teacher, and help ensure safeguarding and wellbeing.

  • Build robust relationships with students.
  • Meet the individual learning needs of students.
  • Provide excellent interpersonal communication with pupils.
  • Be caring, compassionate and a good listener.
  • Work 1:1 and in small groups with students.
  • Ensure safeguarding of students.
  • Attend staff meetings and CPD activities.
  • Commuting to Woking.
