Job summary

Academics is hiring Psychology and Criminology graduates for Learning Support Assistant roles in a primary school near Woking. Immediate start, no prior experience required, and interviews are now taking place in Woking.

You will support students with social, emotional and mental health needs, provide behavioural and pastoral support, and work 1:1 or in small groups to build relationships and safeguard pupils. Salary £92–£100 per day, five days a week.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist the class teacher in providing the learning experience of students
• Behaviour and pastoral support
• Ability to build robust and effective relationships with students
• Practical approach to meet the individual needs of students
• Attend staff meetings and complete appropriate CPD
• Can commute to Woking
• 5 days a week (Mon-Fri)
• Salary will be determined by the successful candidate's qualifications and relevant experience.
