Job summary

Summerlea Primary School, part of West Sussex County Council, is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join a friendly team. The role is permanent, 28.33 hours per week, term-time only (38 weeks plus 5.8 weeks annual leave). Salary ranges from £24,796 to £25,185 p.a.

pro rata, with actual starting at £15,991.80 p.a. We welcome motivated, caring individuals with experience of working with children in education.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children in an educational setting.
• Emotionally intelligent and positive team player.
• Motivated and dedicated with caring approach to support learners.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supporting learning in class and across activities.
• Contribute to a caring and supportive classroom environment.
• Support pupils under supervision and follow school policies.
