• Help students develop confidence, resilience, and practical skills for adulthood.

Axcis Education is currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist Post-16 SEND college in DA17. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to begin or develop a career in education, SEND, youth work, care, healthcare, or support work.

No formal Teaching Assistant qualification is required, although experience supporting young people with additional needs is highly desirable.

The role involves supporting students aged 16+ with a range of additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, moderate learning difficulties, communication needs, and complex learning needs. You will support learners both in the classroom and during vocational subjects, helping them develop independence, employability skills, confidence, and essential life skills.

Key Responsibilities
