Job summary

Monarch Education is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist Resource Base in Easton, Bristol. This part-time role supports pupils with SEND, 1:1 work, and small intervention groups, delivering personalised learning and fostering communication, confidence and independence.

You will work with teachers and SEND professionals in a nurturing, inclusive primary setting. The role offers flexible 3-5 days per week, immediate start, and a supportive education consultant, with

Monarch Education is recruiting a dedicated and caring Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a specialist Resource Base within a friendly and inclusive primary school in Easton, Bristol. This rewarding part-time role offers the opportunity to support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in a nurturing environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their full potential.

About the School

This welcoming primary school places inclusion at the heart of everything it does. The Resource Base provides tailored support for pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them develop academically, socially, and emotionally within a safe and supportive environment.

Working alongside experienced teachers and SEND professionals, you’ll play an important role in helping pupils build confidence, independence, communication skills, and positive relationships.

The Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

  • Support pupils with SEND within the Resource Base and wider school environment.
  • Work with children on a 1:1 basis and in small intervention groups.

  • Can build positive relationships and communicate effectively.
  • Are adaptable, proactive, and keen to support individual learning needs.
  • Have experience in schools, nurseries, care settings, youth work, support work, or similar environments.
