Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our primary school team. The successful candidate will support students with diverse learning needs within the classroom, helping them access the curriculum and participate fully in activities. This role offers a chance to positively impact students' educational journeys and overall development.

• Provide one-on-one support to students with special educational needs.
• Assist in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and tailored learning strategies.
• Support students in accessing the curriculum, participating in activities, and completing tasks.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with teachers to monitor progress and adjust support strategies.
• Encourage independence and confidence through positive reinforcement.
• Maintain records of student progress and provide feedback to staff.
• Previous experience working with children with special needs is desirable but not essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting learning.
• Ability to work collaboratively and follow instructions.
• Flexibility and willingness to learn and grow in the role.
