Job summary

Rounds Green Primary School is seeking an exceptional Level 2 Learning Support Practitioner to join our team of Learning Support Assistants. The successful candidate will work in Year 4, providing additional support to a neurodiverse pupil, and helping to foster an engaging and inclusive learning environment.

The post requires a passionate, collaborative educator with SEND experience, capable of working with medical needs, parents, and staff to support pupil development within a nurturing school

Rounds Green Primary School is a vibrant, diverse, two-form entry primary school welcoming children from age 4 to 11. As part of The Elliot Foundation Academy Trust, we are also part of a larger family of schools who work together to support each other and provide collaboration opportunities.

We are looking to appoint an exceptional Level 2 Learning Support practitioner to join our team of Learning Support Assistants, who are passionate about engaging and inspiring our lovely, curious and eager young learners. The successful candidate will be expected to work in Year 4 in the first instance providing additional support to a neurodiverse pupil.

The school is dedicated to encouraging each pupil to achieve their best within this nurturing, family environment. This is a great opportunity for an outstanding, enthusiastic, innovative and well-qualified Learning Support Assistant who has experience working with learners with SEND, including medical needs.

Applicants should be:

• able to demonstrate a genuine care for the individual pupils
• able to cater for the needs of each individual child in their care
• understand how to implement SEND targets and recommendations from professionals
• able to maintain open communications with parents and work colleagues in building and maintaining a supportive and encouraging team environment
