Gosforth Group is seeking a dedicated Support Assistant to join the Academy's Learning Support department to help students access the curriculum and achieve their best. The role supports learners with a range of needs, assists with behaviour and attendance, and contributes to a positive, inclusive classroom culture across Key Stages 3–4.
You will work alongside staff to monitor progress, adapt activities, maintain accurate records, and support safeguarding and welfare as part of a motivated team
We are looking to appoint a brilliant and suitably qualified Support Assistant who is passionate, pro-active and innovative to join the Academy's successful Learning Support department. The successful candidate will play a key role in working alongside students with a range of needs, supporting with learning and also with behaviour and attendance issues as appropriate. The Learning Support Department works across all Key Stages to ensure up-to-date and accurate information is available for class teachers, and that students are supported to ensure they can access the curriculum. The post is ideal for someone who is focussed on student welfare and progress and keen to be an integral part of the many varied aspects of school life.
