Job summary

Justteachers Ltd is seeking a committed Learning Support Assistant to join a friendly and inclusive school in the Leeds area on a long-term basis. The role is full-time and due to commence in September.

You will provide in-class support, work with individuals and small groups, assist pupils with additional needs, and help the class teacher maintain a positive learning environment. Relevant experience and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in education, childcare, youth work or support roles.
• Experience working with children or young people in a classroom or similar setting.
• Good understanding of how to support pupils with differing learning needs.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
• Two recent education or school-based references.
