Job summary

Layton Primary School in Lancashire seeks a dedicated teaching assistant to support teachers and pupils in the classroom. The role requires a Level 2 NVQ or equivalent in supporting teaching and learning and five GCSEs including Maths and English, with at least six months' experience working with children in an educational setting.

You will work under supervision to support learning activities, promote safety, and help with classroom routines.

Qualifications

• Level 2 NVQ and Level 2 certificate in supporting teaching and learning on the Qualification and Credit Framework.
• Five GCSEs including Maths and English.
• Have at least 6 months experience of working with children in an educational setting.
• Knowledge and compliance with policies and procedures relevant to child protection and health and safety.
