Job summary

St Richard's Catholic College in England is seeking a dedicated teaching assistant to support pupils in a busy classroom environment. The role focuses on delivering learning support and helping pupils stay on task while assisting with English and Mathematics.

You will work with teachers to apply behaviour management strategies, provide individual attention, and contribute to safeguarding and health and safety practices. Experience with SEN and educational technology is welcome.

Qualifications

• A good standard of education in English and Mathematics (C/4+).
• Experience supporting children in a classroom, including those with SEN.
• Experience using technology to support pupils in class.
• Knowledge of health, safety and safeguarding requirements in learning env.
• Ability to communicate clearly with pupils and relate to them.
• Ability to establish positive relationships with pupils and empathise.
