Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to work in Camden and Islington schools, supporting pupils with special educational needs on a 1:1 basis or within the classroom. The role offers daily pay, with intervals from 8:30am to 3:30pm, and welcomes graduates aiming to start a rewarding career in education.

Qualifications

• Passionate about working with children and supporting their development.
• Experience with children or SEND is beneficial, but enthusiastic graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Patient, caring and resilient attitude.
• Enhanced Child DBS (and/or Overseas Police Checks) if applicable.
• Legal right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Support children with SEND on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.
• Assist teachers in delivering lessons and managing classroom routines.
• Build positive relationships to help pupils thrive academically and socially.
• Contribute to a supportive, inclusive learning environment.

Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for enthusiastic, caring, and motivated SEN Teaching Assistants to work in fantastic schools across Camden and Islington! We have opportunities in Good and Outstanding schools, supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), both on a 1:1 basis and within the wider classroom. Whether you're an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant or a recent graduate looking to start a rewarding career in education, we'd love to hear from you!

Pay: £95-£100 per day (PAYE) Hours: 8:30am-3:30pm Locations: Camden & Islington Education/ Psychology / Nursing Graduates welcome!

The ideal candidate will be patient, proactive, and passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning. You'll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with pupils, support their individual needs, and help them thrive both academically and socially.
