Job summary

Stockton Riverside College, part of The Education Training Collective (Etc.), invites applications for a Learning Support Assistant to join the Learning Support team. You will work with teaching staff to plan and adjust learning methods for students who require additional support and help promote independence.

We offer a supportive team and opportunities to develop within a forward-thinking group; DBS checks apply. Schedule Monday-Friday, term time only (36 weeks per year).

• Enthusiastic and committed to improving learning outcomes and employment opportunities.
• Experience in supporting students with learning difficulties or disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Working with teaching staff to plan and adjust learning methods for students who require additional support.
• Developing strategies to respond to additional learning support needs of individuals and groups.
• Developing strategies to promote independence and resilience in learners with support needs.
