Blenheim Schools is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our Enhanced Learning Team at Beech Hall School. You will support students with SEND, including Autism, ADHD and Dyslexia, helping them build confidence, independence and achieve success in class and beyond.

You will work closely with teachers, the SENDCo, parents and external professionals to deliver targeted support in classrooms, small groups and one-to-one sessions, promoting an inclusive, safe learning environment.

Qualifications

• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics required.
• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities are essential.
• Understanding safeguarding and student welfare is important.
• First Aid qualification or willingness to obtain one is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Support students with SEND within classroom and targeted interventions.
• Act as a key worker for identified students and track progress.
• Deliver small group and one-to-one programmes as directed by SENDCo.
• Create and maintain student profiles, resources, and support plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents and external agencies for best outcomes.
• Support students' social, emotional, and pastoral development.
• Maintain records and contribute to review meetings.
• Promote a safe, inclusive learning environment.
