Job summary

Pink Tile Education Ltd is recruiting a Learning Support Assistant for a friendly primary school in Hove, East Sussex. This role focuses on 1:1 interventions and small group support to help pupils overcome barriers to learning.

Qualifications

• Essential: caring, patient and positive attitude; passion for supporting children; excellent communication and teamwork.
• Desirable: experience in primary education and safeguarding awareness.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support for pupils with additional learning needs.
• Deliver small group interventions to support academic progress.
• Assist children with SEND such as autism, ADHD, SEMH, or speech and language needs.
• Support learning across the curriculum and monitor pupil progress.
• Help create a safe, inclusive, engaging classroom environment.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
