Job summary

Pink Tile Education Ltd is seeking a SEND Learning Support Assistant in Burgess Hill to support pupils with additional needs through 1:1 and small-group interventions. You will work with teachers, the SENDCo, and support staff to tailor support and promote inclusion in daily classroom activities.

We welcome candidates from care, youth work, childcare, or support roles who are passionate about helping children reach their potential.

Qualifications

• Able to provide tailored support for pupils with SEN
• Experience in or willingness to work with children with diverse needs
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support for pupils with SEND
• Deliver targeted small group interventions
• Support children with social, emotional, and communication needs
• Assist pupils with classroom activities and learning tasks
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Promote inclusion and participation in school life
• Support behaviour management strategies as required
• Monitor progress and provide feedback to teachers
• Help create a safe, nurturing learning environment
