Job summary

St Peter’s CofE Primary School, Whetstone, part of Embrace Multi Academy Trust, is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join from October 2026 for one academic year. You will support pupils with special educational needs, helping them thrive academically, socially and emotionally in a nurturing, inclusive environment.

You’ll work closely with teachers and the school team, building positive relationships and promoting progression, participation and wellbeing for all pupils.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with special educational needs (SEN).
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff and families.
• Commitment to inclusion and safeguarding procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEN to participate in learning activities.
• Assist teachers with planning and delivering lessons.
• Monitor and support social and emotional development.
