Job summary

Milk Education are recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Putney from October 2026. This full-time, long-term position offers daily pay of £100-£120 and a supportive environment to build experience working with children.

You will support pupils across lessons, work with the class teacher, provide 1:1 and small-group help, and help pupils stay engaged throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children is essential.
• School or classroom experience is desirable.
• Patient, approachable and supportive.
• Confident working with children of different abilities.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable and enthusiastic about working in a primary school.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils across the classroom during lessons.
• Work alongside the class teacher to support learning.
• Provide one-to-one and small-group support where needed.
• Help pupils stay engaged and focused throughout the school day.
• Assist with classroom activities and learning resources.
• Encourage positive behaviour and independence.
