Job summary

Sixth Form College in Kensington & Chelsea is seeking a Graduate Learning Support Assistant with a literacy background to support pupils across the secondary school starting October 2026 or sooner.

You will deliver targeted literacy support, monitor progress, and work with SENDCo, teaching staff, families and external professionals to ensure students engage fully in academy life and achieve academic progress.

Responsibilities

• Deliver targeted literacy support that enables students to access learning and make sustained academic progress.
• Promote inclusion by helping students overcome barriers to learning and participate fully in academy life.

• Support the creation of a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment where all students can succeed.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to reviews, meetings and wider support planning for students.

A large, welcoming Sixth Form College in Kensington & Chelsea are looking for a Learning Support Assistant with a literacy background to join their school fromOctober 26 or sooner to work with pupils across their secondary school.

The Role

In this role you will play a key role in supporting students with literacy-related barriers to learning, helping them to develop the skills, confidence and independence needed to achieve success across the curriculum. You will work closely with the SENDCo, teaching staff, families and external professional.
