Job summary

The Sigma Trust is seeking a Learning Support Assistant for The Thomas Lord Audley School to support students' academic and personal growth within a positive learning environment.

The role offers term-time working with non-pupil days, requiring empathy and commitment to safeguarding. You will work closely with teachers and SENCO to implement targeted interventions and build strong student relationships.

Qualifications

• GCSEA - C (or equivalent) Maths and English
• Understand procedures and legislation relating to confidentiality
• Understand the importance of physical and emotional wellbeing

Responsibilities

• Work with individuals or small groups of children under the direction of teaching staff and or SENCO to plan and deliver wave 1, 2 and 3 interventions that have measurable impact for the specific needs of the student.
• Establish positive relationships with students and staff.
• Be a key worker for SEN pupils.
