Job summary

East Riding of Yorkshire Council's Kings Mill School, Driffield, is seeking an experienced, caring and hardworking individual to join our team supporting pupils with specific and profound learning difficulties. This part-time post is 33.5 hours per week during term time, with interviews commencing the week of 9 November.

You will be part of a dedicated team, with the potential to work across Kings Mill sites in the future. DBS checks and safeguarding procedures apply.

Qualifications

• Experience with pupils with specific and profound learning difficulties.
• Good teamworking skills and ability to assess pupils.
• Flexible approach to work and willingness to participate in off-site activities.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare.

Responsibilities

• Work in one of the secondary classes with pupils who have profound and multiple learning difficulties.
• Collaborate with staff and participate in off-site activities as required.
• Contribute to safeguarding and welfare of pupils as part of the school team.
