East Riding of Yorkshire Council's Riverside Special School in Goole is seeking a dedicated support worker to assist pupils aged 2–19 with learning activities. The role offers term-time, part-time hours (32.5 per week) and a salary of £20,967–£21,307 per year pro-rata.

You will provide whole class, small group and one-to-one support to help pupils access teaching and develop basic skills in Maths and English, with training opportunities in safeguarding and SEN methods.

Qualificações

• Good standard of general education including Maths and English.
• Experience with children with SEND would be advantageous.
• Willing to undertake further training to develop knowledge and skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide whole class, small group and one-to-one support to encourage and develop skills.
• Work with a dedicated team to help pupils access teaching and learning.
• Establish positive working relationships with children and adults.
