Job summary

Supply Desk Ltd is seeking a Classroom Support Assistant for Worthing and surrounding areas. Typical hours align with school times (08:30–15:30), with a flexible start and both full-time/part-time options.

Your role involves assisting teachers, delivering one-to-one or small-group support, and helping foster a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere. DBS check required or willingness to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Experience with children across age groups.
• Patient, adaptable and nurturing approach.
• Confident supporting pupils with different needs and abilities.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Enhanced DBS in Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Supporting teachers with lessons and classroom activities.
• Providing one-to-one or small-group support to pupils.
• Helping create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
• Supporting pupils with additional needs and adapting approach as needed.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement.
• Working with staff to support pupil progress and wellbeing.
