Learning Support Assistant – Outstanding Secondary School

Location: Enfield, North London

Start Date: January 2026

Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term (Term Time Only)

Pay: £90–£110 per day (dependent on experience)

Protocol Education is working closely with an OFSTED‑rated Outstanding secondary school in Enfield to recruit a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their Inclusion Team from January 2026.

About the Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will support students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) within a mainstream classroom environment. You will work alongside the SENCO and teaching staff to ensure pupils are fully supported academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support in literacy, numeracy, and social skills
  • Supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD, and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
  • Adapting lesson materials to meet individual learning needs
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and active engagement
  • Acting as a positive role model to build confidence and independence
